Utilizing the principles of art – repetition, variety, balance, emphasis, sequence and scale – our landscape designers create a landscape that will perform at its best. While seeking to meet the needs and tastes of people, our professional landscape designs use a variety of materials, including stone, wood, water and plants. The goal of every Brentwood Landscapes design is to integrate these principles to create a pleasing outdoor environment.

Brentwood Landscapes offers a full range of design services including: master landscape plans, foundation plantings, perennial gardens, annual flower design, arbors, patios, retaining walls, water features, irrigation systems and landscape lighting.

DESIGN SERVICES
Our clients contact us because they are searching for someone with the proper training and experience in landscape design and installation. Our goal at Brentwood Landscapes is to solve your problems, and in the process create for you a wonderful environment in which to live.

After contacting our office, a meeting with our landscape designer will be arranged at your convenience. At your initial meeting, he will listen to you and walk the property with you to discover the scope of the project. Some preliminary ideas may be discussed about what we see and hear. The designer will also explain the full range of services offered by our company. If a project involves new or substantially changing existing shrub beds, a landscape design is recommended to communicate the proposal to the client and assist with the project installation. Smaller scale project may only require an estimate.

Our designer will leave you with a Client Application, which consists of a detailed questionnaire to learn more about your specific wants and needs. You will also be given a Landscape Design Service Contract explaining exactly what we propose to furnish by way of a design and proposal, and the associated fees. The Client Application will greatly assist in the completion of a successful landscape design tailored to you.

Great landscape design and architecture is the foundation for any good landscape plan. Brentwood Landscapes will design a comprehensive plan for your entire property or for just a small area that needs attention. The plan will be customized based upon your needs and wishes, and your site will be accurately measured and photographed before we begin the design. The landscape design will be created to accent your unique lifestyle, within the natural constraints of your property’s environmental factors, such as sun and shade, sights and sounds, soil type and land elevations.

In addition to the actual landscape design, a formal proposal will be compiled. The proposal will include an exact plant and materials list, along with the cost to complete the job. Many times proposals are broken down into installation or project phases. Once a proposal is signed, and a deposit received, your project will be placed on our installation schedule.

INSTALLATION
A great design is only as good as its installation. There are several factors that result in a quality landscape installation that Brentwood Landscapes follows as part of our standard installation practices.

• SITE PREPARATION – Good landscaping includes proper preparation of the planting beds. After analysis, the soil will be tilled and amended for proper balance and drainage.
  
  
• QUALITY PLANT MATERIALS – Brentwood Landscapes works with nurseries and suppliers of choice plant materials. Only plants that grow well in USDA hardiness Zone 7 are recommended. All trees and shrubs are guaranteed for a period of six months, or one year with a maintenance contract.
  
  
• PROPER INSTALLATION – With degreed project managers and horticulturists on staff, Brentwood Landscapes has both the education and training to plant trees and shrubs the correct way. We take the extra time to remove metal baskets and nylon string from trees to prevent future root damage. Special attention is given to preventing soil compaction during the planting process. In all cases, all debris will be removed from your site and your property will be left neat and clean.
  
  
• MAINTENANCE – Of course, all landscaping will need maintenance to ensure proper plant health and beauty. Brentwood Landscapes provides a full range of landscape maintenance and maintenance contracts.

PROJECT MANAGEMENT
Many landscape projects are of a complex nature, involving multiple contractors such as stone masons, carpenters, plumbers, electricians, etc. Brentwood Landscapes works with a team of associated subcontractors that meet our high level of quality and professional expectations. All subcontractors are licensed and insured, and work under the direction of Brentwood Landscapes. Our clients can rest assured that we stand behind all work performed as part of the overall landscaping project, and that we will coordinate all parties essential to completing the job correctly and on time.

We are proud of the work we do as a landscape design, landscape installation, and landscape maintenance firm. Once the landscape project is complete, a final meeting with our landscape consultant and designer will be scheduled to review the project with you. We feel that the ending of a project is just the beginning of our relationship with each and every client. We realize that you are making an investment in your home and property, and Brentwood Landscapes offers you the opportunity to protect that investment through various services.

• WARRANTY SERVICE – Brentwood Landscapes a written warranty on all trees and shrubs for a period of six months after the completion of the project and final payment is received. We do not quibble with our clients. If a plant looks bad, simply call our office and someone will check on it immediately. If it is sick or dead, we will replace it. It’s that simple. The warranty is automatically extended to one full year if an annual service contract with Brentwood Landscapes is utilized.
  
  
• PLANT CARE INFO – After every landscape project is completed, Brentwood Landscapes will provide you with a detailed Plant Care information packet. This information will discuss the basics of plant care such as pruning, watering, fertilizing, etc. for each plant installed.
