Steve Garrett
Horticulturist & President, founded Brentwood Landscapes in 1999. He is a graduate of MTSU, with a B.S. degree in Plant and Soil Science. He has managed a successful business in landscape design and installation since 1996. Steve developed his love for turf management while at Belle Meade Country Club (1997-1998). Later, as a horticulturist with Cheekwood Botanical Garden (1998-2000) in Nashville, Steve managed the historic Boxwood Gardens and the beautiful Japanese Garden. This unique experience with Cheekwood, and his own demanding standards, plays a role in all that he does. Steve enjoys gardening, restoring antique cars, and raising his three children.

Rob Pring
Vice President - Operations, has been employed at Brentwood Landscapes since 2003. Since coming to our company, Rob has served in various capacities, including Lawn Manager, Maintenance Manager, and Project Manager. His work ethic and sense of humor endear him to many of our clients. In his spare time Rob enjoys biking, hiking, and playing hockey.

Brad Hughes
Landscape Designer, is a graduate from the University of Tennessee, with a degree in Ornamental Horticulture and Landscape Design. Brad is Brentwood Landscapes senior designer, having worked with us since 2003. Brad’s wide knowledge of plant material that thrives in the Middle Tennessee environment is evident in all his designs, especially conifers and native plants. Brad is active in the Association of Professional Landscape Designers (APLD). Brad enjoys biking and visiting botanical gardens when on vacation.

Matt Goodall
Landscape Designer, is also a graduate from the University of Tennessee, with a degree in Plant Sciences/Landscape Design. Matt has been a part of the Brentwood Landscapes design staff since 2005. He is a member of the Association of Professional Landscape Designers (APLD). Matt’s attention to every detail is evident in all of his landscape designs and installation projects. Matt enjoys gardening, running and working on his home landscape.
